What Is Handshake Fragmentation and When Should You Use It?

Before a VPN connection can start working, your device and the remote server first need to establish a connection. This initial exchange of data is called a handshake.

In heavily restricted networks, filtering systems may inspect this initial traffic and try to identify or block certain types of connections before they are fully established.

Handshake Fragmentation, available in Trust.Zone VPN V2, changes how this initial connection data is sent. Instead of sending it as one larger block, the app splits it into smaller fragments. read more...

What Is Split Tunneling and When Should You Use It?

What Is Split Tunneling and When Should You Use It?

Normally, when you connect to a VPN, all internet traffic from your device goes through the VPN.

But sometimes you don't need every app to use it.

Split Tunneling, available in Trust.Zone VPN V2, lets you choose which applications use the VPN and which connect directly to the internet.

With Split Tunneling, you can control the VPN connection for individual apps. You can send only selected apps through Trust.Zone VPN V2 while everything else uses your regular connection, or do the opposite: keep most apps on the VPN and exclude only the ones that need a direct connection.

Suppose a messaging app or another service is restricted on your network, while everything else works normally. Instead of routing all your traffic through the VPN, you can use Trust.Zone only for that app. read more...

The debate is officially over. Europe’s highest court has delivered a landmark victory for digital freedom, internet privacy, and every single VPN user on the planet.

In a historic decision, the Court of Justice of the European Union (CJEU) officially declared that VPNs are neutral, fully lawful technical tools—and using them to bypass geo-restrictions does not make them or you illegal.

If you’ve ever worried about the legal status of securing your online activity or accessing content globally, you can breathe easy. The law is 100% on your side. read more...

Standard Wi-Fi Can Now Identify People With 99% Accuracy

Standard Wi-Fi Can Now Identify People With 99% Accuracy

Your Wi-Fi router looks harmless. It sits in the corner, blinking quietly, helping you stream movies, send emails, and scroll through social media.

But what if that same router could also detect when you enter a room? What if it could recognize the way you move? What if, one day, it could identify you without a camera, without your phone, and without your permission?

This is no longer science fiction.

A recent study shows that standard Wi-Fi routers can be used to identify people by analyzing how their bodies disturb wireless signals. In controlled tests, researchers reported identification accuracy of up to 99.5%. No face scan. No fingerprint. No wearable device. Just Wi-Fi signals bouncing around a room. read more...

Trust.Zone VPN network upgrade: better speed, lower ping, stronger stability

Trust Zone is performing a scheduled software upgrade on VPN servers to improve performance across the network.

The goal of this update is simple: faster connections, better ping, improved stability, and a smoother VPN experience.

Behind every stable VPN connection there is constant infrastructure work. Server software, network routing, load handling, and connection management need to be regularly optimized to keep up with growing traffic, new technologies, and changing internet conditions.

During this upgrade, some servers may temporarily respond slower than usual. A small number of users may also experience short connection delays or brief reconnections. read more...
